Prozign was selected to develop a master plan for the four-story office building. Upon completion of the master plan, Prozign was contracted to complete the first phase of the major renovation. In total, the project was a 90,000 sf renovation. The design includes a 20,000 sf state-of-the-art library, open study areas, semi-private group study rooms, personal offices, a copy center, and a computer lab. The educational space was designed to filter off from the open-study space. General classrooms with state-of-the-art teaching equipment and general science labs were designed to prepare HCC students for the transition into the UT Tyler engineering program.
